This was pretty cute.
Oliver was showing flashcards to Zaeda and decided that,
with his new reading skills, he should teach her. So he taped a paper up on the
wall for his board and made her his student. When Zaeda looked at his V for
Vampire flashcard and correctly said “vampire” he went to Jenny and requested a
piece of candy to reward her (unbeknownst to me -- thinking it was some other thing in her mouth, I made her spit the candy out to show me).
You see, the “fairest school ever” is one where the teacher
doesn’t get candy. It only goes to the person being taught.
Later that night, an inspired Zaeda fell asleep reading and she looked
like this:
